Institute of Political Leadership Launches Politicians Club in New Delhi for Political Leadership

Institute of Political Leadership launches Politicians Club in Connaught Place, New Delhi, offering political training, leadership development, networking, media facilities and lifetime membership for eligible members.

The Institute of Political Leadership (IPL) has announced the launch of ‘Politicians Club’, an exclusive platform for political leaders, policymakers and aspiring politicians, focused on political training, leadership development, meaningful dialogue and high-level networking.

Strategically located in Connaught Place, New Delhi, the Politicians Club is being developed as a dedicated hub for political excellence, leadership development and political networking. The facility will span approximately 10,000 sq. ft. within a state-of-the-art building of more than 20,000 sq. ft.

The proposed club will feature an Auditorium and Model Parliament for structured debates, policy discussions and parliamentary simulations. It will also include Advanced Training Halls for live and online political training programmes, along with a dedicated Podcast and Media Zone equipped for podcasts, live streaming and professional audio-video production.

Shahnawaz Chaudhary Bhartiya, Founder, Institute of Political Leadership, said, “Politics is not just about contesting elections; it is about understanding people, developing leadership capabilities and continuously learning. Through the Politicians Club, we want to create a dedicated ecosystem where political leaders and aspiring politicians can learn, interact, exchange ideas and prepare themselves for the challenges of public life.”

He added, “Our objective is to make political training more structured, practical and accessible. Under its lifetime membership programme, members will have access to political training programmes, seminars and events, along with opportunities to participate in in-house debates, speeches and political discussions. Members will also have access to podcast and media facilities, social media support services, political networking opportunities and VIP political events.

The programme also aims to provide members with personalised political roadmaps and long-term mentoring, business training opportunities for members and their families, regular political updates through the Institute’s app, and opportunities to participate in political delegations and study tours in India and abroad.

Another key initiative is Next Generation Leadership Planning, aimed at helping political families develop long-term leadership capabilities and sustain their political legacy. Members may also have their profiles featured on the Institute’s app to facilitate networking and team-building opportunities in their respective areas.

The Institute of Political Leadership has also announced a Lifetime Honorary Membership for distinguished constitutional and political office holders, offered without charge. The initiative includes the President of India, Vice President of India, Leaders of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, and Chief Ministers of States and Union Territories, subject to their acceptance.

The initiative is intended to create a platform where experienced political leaders can share their journeys, challenges, struggles and lessons from public life with aspiring leaders and the wider public.

Bhartiya said, “India has leaders who have spent decades in public life and have experienced the realities, challenges and struggles of politics firsthand. Their experiences are an invaluable source of learning for the next generation. We want to provide a platform where these journeys can be heard, understood and passed on to future political leaders.”

Under the membership and eligibility programme, members enrolled in the Institute’s five-year MP/MLA-level VIP Political Training and Consultancy Programme will be eligible for lifetime membership. Eligible individuals may also apply directly for membership.

The Institute said the membership programme is designed to create a long-term ecosystem for political education, leadership development, networking and mentorship.

Applications for membership can be made through the IPL-India App, available on both Android and iOS platforms. More information is available through the Institute of Political Leadership website, www.iplindia.org. The IPL-India App is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The Institute of Political Leadership said the launch of Politicians Club represents its vision of creating a structured platform where political leaders, aspiring politicians and policymakers can learn, connect, exchange ideas and contribute to the development of future political leadership in India.
